Provide continuous watch for a Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) in the clients headquarters operations center. Assist with coordinating command and control for operational planning orders along with coordinating command and control for responses to contingencies and crisis situations. Draft and disseminate daily operations summary products, notifications, operational messages, and information papers. Provide recommendations to the client team about suggested responses to critical events or crises, with prudent analytical input on potential or emerging threats. Help the client review and analyze all situation reports and make concise, substantive reporting recommendation to the government operations leadership.
-8+ years of experience with the military or emergency response
-2+ years of experience in a division or higher operations center or emergency operations center
-Experience with using knowledge management and database tools, including Task Management Tool (TMT) and Automated Message Handling System
-Knowledge of standard operations center processes and procedures
-Ability to provide situational awareness, monitoring of plan implementation, and decision support
-Ability to conduct analysis of emerging critical or crisis events
-Ability to present material clearly during executive-level briefings
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
-Experience with operations plan development and execution, inter-agency coordination, rapid-response planning, exercise planning, or continuity of operations
-Experience with applying the military intelligence cycle
