ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Act as the main point of contact with the client for day-to-day operations Develop a partnership with the client as an advisor by understanding the objectives of the MMIS Modular Replacement system and supporting an ongoing, two-way communication effort regarding technology strategies, priorities, and governance. Manage Contractor staff including staffing levels, hiring, training, assignments, performance evaluations and issue resolution. Ensure the quality and timeliness of all Contractor deliverables, documentation, and reports. Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management. Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work. Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities. Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.
Understanding of public sector tax systems, underlying and associated systems and technology. Functional understanding of public sector budget processes and workflows At least ten (10) years of experience leading IV&V engagement of scope and complexity comparable to the Compass Program. Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific and technical discipline. Current Project Management (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or any PMI-issued agile certifications. Experience using IV&V methodologies and industry-standard best practices in project management and system development. Possess exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills and must be available to present executive project presentations to multiple levels of project leadership and to other government executives. One or more of the following certifications desirable but not required: American Society for Quality (ASQ) ,Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) ,Professional Risk Management (PRM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Coach and mentor junior staff members. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
