Job Description:

Line of Business Description: The role will support the Bankruptcy Operations team under the Life and Specialty Servicing (L&SS) division under the Consumer Small Business and Wealth Management Operations (CSWO) - Global Technology and Operations (GTO) line of business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Mitigate loss and legal risk to the company and to investors by accurately managing the bankruptcy processes and obtaining relief from bankruptcy on non-performing loans.
  • Communicate with attorneys, court appointed trustees and borrowers to answer questions related to the bankruptcy file.
  • Handle routine or complex levels of transactions with oversight by senior staff and managers to complete daily tasks.
  • Pipeline management will be required of work queues to ensure investor and internal service level agreements are met; in addition to meeting accuracy standards.

Typically will have 0-4 years experience with a working knowledge of the mortgage business and general office skills.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years mortgage servicing experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to perform multiple tasks within limited time frames
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit professional demeanor in all situations
  • Solid knowledge of overall PC functionality in a Windows environment, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Flexible, willing to learn and self-motivated
  • Exhibit professional demeanor in all situations
  • Ability to embrace change with a positive approach and be a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working in a Bankruptcy Servicing environment preferred
  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills a plus
  • Familiarity with MSP, BAPS, Visa Risk, RMS, and LoanSphere a desired
