Director, Client Protection

The Director, Client Protection engages with Workplace Solutions (WS) and Tax Exempt Market (TEM) Sales, Relationship Management, Contracts, Legal, and Risk teams on client cybersecurity requirements.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity risk management
  • Broad understanding of industry best practices, standards, and trends - to include ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, NIST CSF
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years experience in either information security, cybersecurity, technology audit, compliance, risk assessment, or risk management
  • Professional technology risk certification (CISSP, CTPRP, CISA, CRISC, CISM)
  • 2 years Information Security requirements contract negotiation experience (with vendors and/or clients)
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and negotiation skills

The Purpose of Your Role
  • Help Reignite Organic Growth for WS. Promote, communicate, and negotiate WS cybersecurity and customer protection controls with clients and prospects.
  • Protect Workplace Solutions. Ensure alignment between client security requirements and Fidelity capabilities and plans

The Skills You Bring
  • Ability to collaboratively work across various organizations and Business Units
  • Advanced understanding of security policies, standards, and controls, to include ISO 27001/2, incident response, cyber security, network security, web application security, access control, physical and environmental security, logging and monitoring, records retention, business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Advanced negotiation and communication skills (written and oral), as client communication is required. Candidate will be expected to provide a redline response to a sample Information Security contract amendment.
