Scanner Indexer II
Verification of over 200,000 scanned trust document images per year representing account specific transactions, investment strategies, statements, etc. These documents create historical files that are utilized to validate account information to customers, and respective local and federal jurisdictions. S/he will also retrieve information from all of the other mediums within the Records Management Department utilizing archives, microfiche and film. Additional responsibilities include: operation of scanning/indexing equipment and micrographic retrieval equipment i.e. (reader/printers and diazo duplicator), responding to e-mail box and other incoming mail projects. Refiling film/jackets, as well as, supporting the Manual Statement and Report Distribution functions during month-end processing are also considered key responsibilities. He/she will be expected to handle client inquiries, exercise initiative in researching, analyzing and resolving problems, and exercising sound judgement regarding the proper handling of client requests. The incumbent must be able to work in a highly confidential environment of the wealthiest, high-profile clients of the Corporation. He/she must ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to Wealth Management policies, procedures, auditing and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will be expected to participate in routine department projects, as well as, file conversions as required.
The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent experience of 2-4 years of data input is preferred. S/he will have working knowledge of Trust documents/instruments and be able to work in a multi-task environment. He/she must have a strong attention to detail to ensure all scanned and indexed documents are controlled and accurate to mitigate the risk associated with information security. The incumbent will also participate in various projects to support the business lines' needs. Strong desire to consistently improve workflow to increase efficiencies. Ability to respond, react and adapt quickly to new processes/prodecures, have the ability to work under strict deadlines completing an allocated amount of work per day, possess accurate key-entry skills; and have exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of multimedia filing systems a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent client service, written/oral communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be self motivated with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
