We're seeking a future team member in the role of Group Manager, Control Intelligence & Analytics Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise Control Intelligence and Analytics team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid work arrangement

Enterprise Control Intelligence and Analytics (ECIA) is a newly formed group under Enterprise Chief Control Office (ECCO). The mandate for the team is to provide data driven solutions to assist the Enterprise-wide first-line of the defense control on Firm exposures. More specifically, provide Firm's senior managers, Risk control and Finance managers with Enterprise-wide reports on risk exposures resulted from unexpected events.

Intelligence & Analytics Delivery support 3 types of activities in the Control Intelligence Team:
  1. Design and produce tactical BI reports prior to automated solutions when needed
  2. Perform daily content reviews and checks of the control intelligence dashboards
  3. Drive consistent and standardized usage with internal clients

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Partner with Business SMEs and Business Solution Architecture team to review and collect data sets for prioritized use cases
  • Develop thorough understanding of the business context of data sets that are required for manual/tactical report production
  • Utilize Microsoft tools to design and develop prototypes to support meaningful business and data requirements discussions
  • Create and maintain inventory of reports and use cases
  • Conduct in-depth review and analysis on existing automated dashboards: assess relevance to evolving business purposes; discover and document root causes of significant variances; perform variance analysis from process and data perspective; and propose new requirements
  • Design and execute daily controls to ensure reporting content accuracy
  • Support LOBs, Finance, Risk, Operations and Corporate Treasury on month end and quarter end activities where dashboards are utilized
  • Maintain reference data for proper reporting aggregations
  • Perform quality assurance checks for newly development dashboards to ensure business requirements are addressed
  • Partner with Business Solution Architect team to deliver periodic demo of dashboard functionality and training of content displayed
  • Influence, recommend, and escalate business process changes, control enhancements based on data-driven evidence
  • Insert data-driven analytics in support of best business practice design with clear accountability
  • Generate consistent and standard usage of the dashboards among core stakeholders. Purposefully collect feedback to support continuous enhancements with Business Solution Architecture team
  • Work with key stakeholders to document and maintain operating procedures from report production to consumption
  • Manage and develop team members

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or Finance or another scientific discipline. Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in a Financial, Risk, or Analytical function preferred. with 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Experience in developing in BI Tools (Ex. Qlikview, Qlik Sense, Tableau); strong analytical ability and spreadsheet modeling skills a plus
  • Closed book proficiency with Microsoft Office package, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid knowledge of Financial Products and operating processes
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings, analysis, implications, and recommendations to varied stakeholder audiences
