Court Accounting Team Leader
As a Team Leader in a centralized support group, incumbent is responsible to provide professional support to Portfolio Officers, Relationship Managers, Attorneys, Administrators, internal and external clients, through timely and accurate production of servicing requirements for their clients. He/she will direct their team in providing a wide variety of account driven functions with an emphasis on follow through and accountability. Those functions include: preparation of various state formats of Estate and Trust accountings and legal documents;; Orphans Court legal document preparation and filing;; facilitating the allowance process which includes legal document preparation, filing and external client contact;; preparation and review of all management reports and controls. He/She will act as a liaison with outside vendor (Faster) to resolve complex format and software issues.He/she may participate in client meetings or calls where front office teams request Subject Matter Expert to provide solutions. He/she will be responsible to assign court accounting requests within the unit, taking into consideration level of knowledge, proven skills and balancing workloads appropriately. He/she will monitor the workflow ensuring that all court ordered deadlines and standards are met. He/She will review completed accountings. Analyze and report the quality and level of service provided by the Unit. He/she continuously monitors quality and provides constructive feedback to accountants. Provide input to Unit Manager on individual performance and participate in performance reviews.The incumbent must be able to work in a highly confidential environment of the wealthiest, high-profile clients of the Corporation. He/she must ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to Wealth Management policies, procedures, auditing and regulatory requirements.He/She will develop, review and maintain business unit procedures/workflows. Deliver training for all accountants on processes/procedures and seek out opportunities for cross training. He/she will interact with individuals throughout the organization at all levels in order to accomplish objectives. The incumbent will also participate in various projects to support the business lines' needs. He/She will interact with attorneys, judges and court personnel to ensure all guidelines are current and being followed. Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent client service, written/oral communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be self motivated with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work both independently and in team settings. Strong desire to consistently improve workflow to increase efficiencies. Ability to respond, react and drive others to adapt quickly to new processes/procedures. Organizational strengths necessary to maintain proper balance of duties and uphold service levels. High School diploma. BS/BA preferred.
