Description

    • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
    • Analyze financial statements on a monthly basis, providing variance comments and similar analysis as necessary
    • Respond to requests for information from lenders, owner and investors
    • Determine and Monitor cash requirements on recurring basis
    • Prepare annual operating budget
    • Full scope of accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, contracts administration, accounting software systems, tax coordination, internal controls and regulatory compliance
    • Hands on day-to-day accounting and contract administration
    • General ledger entries, reconciliations, month-end, closings, presentation of balance sheet, income statement results and analysis
    • Prepares monthly WIP and other financial reports, conducts analysis addressing potential profit/loss, margin challenges and cash flow
    • Analyzes project financial performance against budgets and collaborates with project managers for strategies
    • Prepares bonding and debt financing packages
    • Implements and monitors effectiveness of accounting, invoicing and project management software systems
    • Process accounts receivable and understand the construction billing and collections process
    • Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules
    • Prepare deposits and weekly cash flow forecasts
    • Communicate with external clients and lenders to manage A/R and AIA billing follow up
    • Responsible for Construction accounts receivable tracking, management, and reporting
    • Assist with internal and external audits
    • Reconciliation of customer payments
    • Reconcile monthly credit card

Profile

    • Percentage of Completion & AIA Billing Experienced Accountant
    • Percentage of Completion Accounting to GAAP/Accrual Accounting Experience
    • Strong G/L experience
    • Ability to work with PM's of multiple different personalities in order to understand project completion for billing purposes
