Department Profile
Credit Risk Management (CRM) evaluates credit risk transactions and approves, rejects or modifies them considering the availability and appropriateness of arrangements for reducing risk or risk mitigation. The department also assigns Internal Credit Ratings; establishes and manages credit risk limits in accordance with the risk tolerance established by the Board; monitors and reports on credit risk exposures on a regular basis to the Chief Risk Officer and senior management. CRM also interacts with business units to ensure that credit risk assessments are factored into business decisions

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interest in and proficiency in project management, including strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and time management
  • Continuously rethink ways to streamline and improve business processes
  • Collaborate across risk functions and business teams to design, execute and implement strategic initiatives for WM CRO office
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to execute across functions and many stakeholders
  • Understand requirements of systems in order to enhance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task

Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Knowledgeable in Finance, Accounting, Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in private banking or commercial banking lending / risk functions
  • Experience with project management preferred
