Director, Enterprise Strategy
The Director, Enterprise Strategy, will play a key role in the formulation, analytical review, preparation and communication of corporate strategy; will both support and lead projects or major work streams related to emerging strategic issues and business area strategies as needed; and will undertake strategic reviews as requested by management. He/she will also work with the company's business leaders to actively drive the inorganic growth agenda of the company, based on its overall strategic priorities.
Primarily support and secondarily lead projects or major work streams related to Mastercard corporate strategy, priorities, and special initiatives
Proactively engage across functions and markets to research and solve business problems and make recommendations on a wide range of issues
Maintain business landscape knowledge, to provide solid foundational context for projects
Produce articulate and persuasive c-suite and board-level presentations of strategic initiatives
All About You:
MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in strategy/management consulting with exposure to financial services/payments preferred
Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred
Superior research, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to support and advance complex cross-enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to challenge established views and assumptions at all levels
Ability to facilitate/lead discussion and debate - team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management
Highly developed multi-cultural sensitivity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - excellent presentation and writing skills
