Wholesale Payments, FX Product Partnerships – Associate
J. P. Morgan is seeking talented candidates for a position as Associate in our FX Product Partnerships team. This individual will be primarily responsible for implementation, management and operations of our FX product partners across the globe.

Transforming our network from a mono-line bank-to-bank model, to one which is channel and payment type ubiquitous, is critical to our continued growth and enhancing our competitive capabilities. This role is all about making it happen with a rigorous and laser sharp focus on execution, to develop market leading capabilities. This is a high profile role which will require very careful attention to detail, and a strategic mindset, in order to align company priorities with the capabilities and operations of our FX partnerships

The primary function is to drive the transformation of the global network, which supports our Treasury Services business. This role will focus on project management for identification, development and relationship management, of new network partners around the world, so that we can offer our clients new cross-border payments products and services. Partnerships may be a combination of fintechs and/or other money service providers. The Associate will help set the strategy and priorities for new market capabilities, emerging payment types, and new potential network partners. The role will also make recommendations for how to best leverage our existing partnerships for continued growth and innovation of our FX offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
Establish and meet all new initiative delivery schedules / targets
Hold internal stakeholders accountable for deliverables
Ensure we are meeting client and business expectations
Redesign existing processes (where relevant) to create capacity so that the business plan is delivered on schedule
Provide oversight and insight on business plan progress
Manage internal stakeholder approval, management and governance
Ensure adequate resources across the firm as planned / allocated (e. g. tech)

Relationship Management support for global partners
Evaluate provider capabilities and recommend global partners based on both long and short-term business objectives
Inquire about new products/services with existing partners, to increase value to JPMC clients
Analysis of volume and cost data including areas to expand vs. consolidate relationships
Address potential issues in operations with partners, and expedite solutions
Establish metrics of success, with continued tracking and monitoring of existing partnerships
Support negotiation of pricing and product offering with our partners

Market Research
Research international markets to understand payment flows and market differences
Analysis of external data (e. g. ecommerce and alternative payment flows by country)
Report new opportunities and changes with go-forward recommendations
Identify new partner opportunities and maintain prospect lists

Global product capability review & competitor benchmarking
Develop detailed map of JPMC capabilities by product, segment, and geography
Create and maintain competitor intelligence
Analyze JPMC capabilities and gaps and propose areas of investment
Marketing & Communications
Support marketing of JPMC network capabilities
Support education of JPMC business on payment channels

Additional Skills:
3-4 years in a Fintech, Payments Product, Strategy, or Management Consulting role
An outstanding ability to analyze problems, perform detailed research, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams, apply innovative thinking, and possess strong project management skills
A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
Experience in initiatives/projects to resolve diverse problems
Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
A bias towards action, and focusing on delivering the end in mind at all times
Creative thinking and problem solving, with internal and external partners
Experience in relationship management
Knowledge and understanding of cross-border payments
PMP or 2 years' experience in project management preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
