About the Team
TheGlobal Payment Strategy (GPS) Product Management Team is responsible forproduct strategy, development and commercialization of both high and low valuepayments services that J.P. Morgan delivers to Financial Institution, Non-BankFinancial Institution, Corporate and Commercial Bank clients globally. These services include Direct Clearing as wellas Correspondent based settlement solutions to the client. Given the geographic footprint of the paymentbusinesses, services and clients that the Global Payment Strategy deliverableswill support, the team is deployed globally across the WHEM, EMEA and APACregions. The team is also responsiblefor the long term wholesale payment strategy of growing markets, paymentcapabilities, and client services globally for all client segments.

About the Position
The Product Controls Associate willbe responsible for supporting the management and delivery of the control agendawithin GPS for the eCommerce Virtual Account Management offering (eWallet). This will involve working closely withProduct Development leads and functional partners, including compliance, risk,sanctions, GFCC, legal, treasury, credit and tax.

Key responsibilities:

· Support the management and deliveryof the eWallet payments control agenda, globally
  • Identify and manage solutions to mitigate payment risk and support business growth
  • Support client requirements through collaboration with traditional product teams
  • Collaborate with technology on business requirements and implementation
  • Partner with GPS team members on key initiatives to ensure regulatory and risk requirements are met
  • Issue management related to payment controls, monitoring and escalation
  • Partner with Global Payments Strategy program management to ensure all deliverables and projects related to the launch of the new control solutions are delivered on schedule
  • Engagement with functional partners, including Risk, Compliance and Legal, to evaluate risks and ensure risk requirements are met
  • Participate and lead internal control discussions across multiple stakeholders
  • 2 years of payments experience
  • Strong understanding of cash controls and cash management related to global payments
  • Strong track record of delivering business results
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and articulate business requirements to various partners, including technology
  • Experience with and/or prior collaboration with Sales, Risk, Operations and Technology
  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
