The J.P. Morgan Advice Lab is an integral part of WealthManagement and is dedicated to developing leading-edge, world classintellectual capital and analytical tools to address client challenges for our clientsacross the wealth spectrum. Our advice is created and delivered by a multi-disciplinaryteam of specialists who develop wealth planning strategies, research, tools,and publications. The team currently focuses on Tax & Wealth Structuring,Estate Planning, Philanthropy, Family Governance, Compensation Strategies,Private Business Ownership & Transitions, and Quantitative Planning Research.

Primary Function :
The VicePresident will report directly to the Head of Tax & Wealth Structuring and isexpected to develop and deliver thought leadership, insights, and advice toadvisors, clients, and prospects on critical wealth structuring techniques andstrategies used across the high net worth wealth spectrum. Responsibilitieswill include:
  • Advising Clients: Engaging directly withclients who have complex wealth structuring situations to find or developbespoke solutions to address their needs
  • Developing Thought Leadership: Author orcontribute to timely thought leadership to be shared with clients and prospects
  • Presenting to Advisors and Clients: Participatein and present at internal and external forums to share wealth planning advicethat helps our clients better leverage the wealth planning solutions availableto them
  • Collaborating with internal partners: Workwith partners across the firm to develop solutions and strategies addressingclients' changing wealth structuring needs
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert: Supportingclients and internal partners with deep knowledge of legislative, legal, andregulatory issues and changes that impact the structures and strategies WealthManagement clients employ

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required; JD or CPA preferred
  • 6 years of work experience in the financialservices industry in an analytically demanding role, preferably in asset orwealth management, or related specialized professional services firms
  • Knowledge of tax, estate planning, andfiduciary law, as well as related fields of law, for high net worth individuals
  • Hard working with ability to perform underpressure and multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as a teamplayer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillswith impeccable attention to detail
  • Good listening and questioning skills in orderto provide strategic advice
  • Microsoft Office suite experience required
  • Willingness to travel
