WM - Fixed Income Software Architect - Executive Director

The Wealth Management Strats team provides revenue-generating activities that are centered on financial analytics. Embedded Desk Strategist (Strat) teams reside within our wealth management businesses which has been expanding its retail banking business aggressively in recent years. The bank deposit and retail products software developer will be a part of the successful Strat support for the Wealth Management business. We are looking for a matured software developer with solid grid computing experience to join our fast-paced and challenging bank product offering.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance and support the core grid computing and infrastructure that the strat models relies on.
• Develop the client-server based front end GUI applications that allows business to explore ad hoc scenarios, specific trades based on our models.
• Responsible for the integration of EOD risks into the firm's risk cube.
• Responsible for the architecture design for the model integration into the system.
• Participate in the model risk calculation, CCAR when needed.
• Interact with firm's IT/Database department to resolve all data, files, auto batch job, permission issues that facilitate the team in the better development stage.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Senior software developer with minimum 5-8 years of experience, Financial Industry preferred

• Very strong programming skills required with solid experience in grid computing, GUI development and Infrastructure.
• Basic financial knowledge on pricing and risk calculation.
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and detail orientation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to act as a bridge between several business areas.
• Must be a service oriented, team-player eager to assist colleagues and members of the department at all levels
• Self-motivated, innovative, hardworking individual, who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks in a timely fashion
• Diligent and meticulous individual with the ability to "think outside the box"
• Enterprise project experience working on cross-functional teams.
• Solid in C++ and C# programming languages, Perl or Python scripting languages. Familiar with WPF/XAML and Java is a plus.
• Solid in Database SQL.
