Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Work closely with trading, sales, and other strategies teams to establish efficient data flows and design systems to satisfy the requirements of latency-sensitive, high-volume trading systems. Contribute to the design and development of new trade execution algorithms. Produce maintainable, well-documented, and tested software. Actively monitor real-time performance and diagnose issues with trading systems. Analyze historical data to produce predictive models for use in trade execution algorithms. Develop simulations to calibrate and test predictive models for real-time trading.

Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or a related quantitative field, plus three (3) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) in the job offered or related financial services position in an electronic trading business. Must have three (3) years of experience if Master's degree or five (5) years of experience if Bachelor's degree with: maintaining, analyzing, and manipulating large data sets to find meaningful patterns; working in a front-office setting in an electronic trading business, interfacing with traders and developers to understand and solve trading problems; applying knowledge of and utilizing state-of-the-art statistical and machine learning techniques, such as Random Forests, Support Vector Machines with non-linear kernels, Hidden Markov Models, non-linear and stochastic optimization, and time series analysis; performing system development in Java or C++, and Python; and collaborating with teams of developers and researchers. Must have two (2) years of experience: designing and implementing trading algorithms; and trading and/or modeling futures markets, and understanding market microstructure associated with different exchanges and tradable instruments.
