RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Multiple positions available. As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer in the UX team, will be responsible for driving the interaction design and look and feel of web, desktop and mobile applications for a variety of businesses at Goldman Sachs. Work with business stakeholders, clients and development teams to define, conceptualize, design and validate the user experience of internal and external users. Actively assist in defining and communicating a vision to improve the user experience of the firm's applications. Conduct multi-faceted user research studies, and determine the human-computer interaction factors that will provide key strategic design direction. Create comprehensive User Interface (UI) specifications and interaction design schemas to provide consistency of experience across business units. Create sophisticated, research-based prototypes that communicate the designed user experience to business stakeholders, technologists, and users. Work with development teams in an Agile environment. Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Industrial Design, Visual Design, Human Factors, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with: interaction design, information architecture and visual design for digital experiences; UX design for data intensive and transaction-oriented applications; User centered design processes (including contextual inquiry and usability testing) and principles. (including accessibility and usability); financial services industry; designing interactive applications that have been developed and achieved great user adoption; data visualization and visual design; creation of effective design prototypes; practical technologies used to build rich web, desktop and mobile apps, including. HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript; conceiving and constructing User Research plans and producing effective deliverables that communicate actionable research findings; assessing and articulating Usability Engineering design factors that will ensure the accessibility and usability of design products; and Human Factors related to User Experience Design.
