RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Data Analytics and Reporting Global Lead within the Prime Services Client Technology team. Identify and unify disparate data sets, including covering client report and delivery information, batch health, as well as business-specific data to create data sets, to identify opportunities to optimize and stabilize the global batches, provide trend analysis on client delivery, and enrich data leveraged by client coverage teams to provide a context-rich view of our client experience. Develop a solid understanding of the data sets and reporting tools and capabilities available in-house as well as in the industry in general. Creatively solve reporting and data analysis needs using the appropriate tools, while understanding and managing the trade-offs. Develop and execute strategic transformation of data analytics platform for the Prime Services business leveraging best in class platforms and methodologies. Mock-up requirements and use cases as expressed by clients, leading the clients through the ideation process to conclusion, sign-off, and implementation of the reporting needs. Deliver solutions that are consistent with Firm guidelines and branding standards and best practices. Develop and extend working relationships with internal pools of expertise, including the tool owners, data owners, program managers, and other stakeholders. Provide informal supervision and quantitative/technical guidance to junior team members. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have six (6) years of experience with: utilizing business intelligence reporting tools, including both Tableau and QlikView; Business Intelligence environments, encompassing relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing, data mining, and dashboard development and lifecycle practices; data retrieval through SQL and no-SQL, from a variety of sources, including DB2, Sybase IQ, and Hadoop; dimensional modeling and schema concepts; participating in or managing Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Business Process Reengineering Projects; designing complex systems along with developing project plans and identifying key milestones and critical project issues; participating in round tables, speaker series and industry events pertaining to data analytics and data visualization; working with development teams and clients who are dispersed across geographies and time zones; core technologies and capabilities to run proof of concepts to reach solutions of scale, including experience with machine learning, data visualization and data centralization and enrichment; working with clients with respect to project delivery scope and timelines; engaging in long-term planning, including evolving our strategic architecture to support distributed environments, scalability and high availability; designing flexible, user context based interactive dashboards to allow data and reporting to be consumed at multiple levels in the organization; leveraging statistical techniques to identify outliers and signal; leveraging data discovery techniques to eliminate unnecessary dependencies expressed in the batches; designing and implementing integration points for other applications to consume data from the analytics platform; and automating client tear sheet generation to provide report and data delivery trends for client coverage teams.
