RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Architect, design and build applications within Corporate Treasury to quantify and project funding usage across the firm and attribute to businesses, using a mixture of JAVA, React, SQL and an in-house programming language (Slang). Have a forward view on the scalability of our architecture and work with the team to design and implement changes, including to data strategy as well as extensible architecture to account for growth and long-term resiliency of our systems. Support and maintain our batch processes and user's workflows using our applications. Respond to users' questions and follow up on batch problems escalated by our L1 support. Collaborate with non-engineers to determine the user stories for software tools. Provide technical oversight, mentorship and management to developers. Collaborate on and execute large projects across regions with global team members.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline. Minimum five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software development role. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Software development, including data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts; working with JAVA, web development and databases (including Sybase and DB2) and writing SQL; UI development including JavaScript and React; driving a project end-to-end, including the business use case, testing and delivering the end project; project management ownership including managing a development team of one (1) to four (4) people and communicating directly with stakeholders; case analysis involving analytical and problem solving in a business context; translating technical requirements for business audiences across multiple global regions; and technical mentorship and career management with respect to direct reports.
