Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Liaise with the business and engineering teams to identify and mitigate any operational and regulatory risks associated with new electronic trading initiatives. Review trading software application logic to ensure that the implementation is in-line with the regulatory rules and compliance requirements. Provide software risk control requirements for electronic trading business initiatives to business stakeholders to address any potential gaps between controls and regulatory requirements. Review production events and recommend process or risk control modifications to business stakeholders. Keep track of industry events (FINRA, SEC enquiries and fines) and provide relevant recommendations for control enhancements. Assist internal departments to respond to regulatory and exchange inquiries. Provide compliance training for business and engineering teams. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies. No knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering or a related field. Must have five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: equities electronic trading systems such as smart order routers, algorithmic trading engines; Software Development Life Cycle and Best Practices; equities market microstructure and equites/equity derivative products; regulations related to equities markets, such as SEC 15-c3-5 (Market Access Rules), and equities exchange; C, C++, and Java; and engaging in risk analysis, devising a risk management strategy, and then advising senior stakeholders on prioritizing and applying risk management solutions. Must have two (2) years of experience with Quantitative Modeling, such as pricing/execution models.
