Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President w/ Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Monitoring and Assurance Group (MAG). Plan and execute the annual MAG work program, to ensure that MAG mitigates both regulatory and reputational risks through highlighting potential gaps or areas of enhancement in the FCC control framework. Draft policies and procedures for MAG. Design and lead investigative reviews of high-risk controls of the firm's Financial Crime program, monitor previously remediated issues and partnered processes. Formulate and document opinions of the FCC control framework based on investigative findings and issue corrective action plans to ensure any risks are appropriately mitigated. Present opinions, findings and corrective action plans to FCC and Global Compliance leadership and relevant committees. Track and validate the completion of corrective action plans. Contribute to annual FCC risk assessment process through maintaining the FCC master workstreams list which documents FCC processes. Communicate lessons learned across FCC leadership globally.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business, Finance, Pre-Law/Legal Studies, or a broadly related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience in compliance-related roles within the financial services industry, including experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), terrorism financing, sanctions screening, know your customer, and anti-bribery and/or anti-fraud experience in the financial services industry. Must have at least two (2) years of experience with: project management, including experience working on multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines and experience interacting with multiple stakeholders across a global organization to meet compliance objectives; financial services and consumer banking industries as it relates to BSA/AML and Government Sanctions operations and regulations; financial crime-related risk assessment processes; identifying and assessing potential compliance issues/risks, independently devising effective action plans, and timely escalating issues/risks to management and key stakeholders; and drafting investigative summaries and communicating orally/verbally (e.g., assertive, courteous, persuasive) to work with and influence all levels of seniority.
