A leading global investment bank are looking for a VP to join their front office Client Lifecycle Strategy team. The lifecycle team is focused on the delivery of the strategic client change agenda across Institutional and Treasury Coverage (ITC) and covers the design and implementation of a range of projects to address the client needs for the business. Current programs focus on the front office’s commitment to remediate and control the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) risk within the franchise, aligned with the Bank’s regularity findings and commitments.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of the change agenda across ITC businesses in relation to client lifecycle
  • Build out the underlying data to support client lifecycle analysis and MI, including alignment with global ACO and Red/Green process leads globally
  • Deliver upon assigned projects aligned with the lifecycle management of the ITC client base
  • Escalate issues across the team and support functions
  • Develop and manage relationships with global lifecycle teams supporting infrastructure functions
  • Support build out of a full front to back understanding of the US client base residing within the client perimeter
  • Run analysis for the quarterly client perimeter review with goal of maintaining clients, which fall within our risk appetite and commercial thresholds
  • Drive work stream delivery and collaborate with technology and infrastructure to deliver within timeframes

 

Core Responsibilities within Client Lifecycle Team:

  • New Clients: Manage the institutional sales client pre-approval process, working alongside salespeople and client strategy to review potential new revenue opportunities and act as a subject matter expert for the front office
  • Produce and challenge centralized remediation MI in order to update senior US stakeholders on progress against our global commitments
  • Off boarding: Actively manage red list population including management of removals, data issues and logging of client issues centrally

 

Experience:

  • Proven track record of change management in a front office environment at an Investment Bank
  • Product knowledge particularly in Rates, Credit, Equities and/or FX cash/derivatives, with knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle being significantly advantageous
  • Knowledge of client lifecycle within the context of sales and trading at an investment Bank, i.e. Client on-boarding, KYC or AFC knowledge would be significantly advantageous
  • Experience working with large corporate client base including Latin American operations
  • Experience with the design and execution of large scale front to back remediation programs
  • Understanding and application of project management methodologies across delivery timeline
  • Extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
