Department Overview

Reporting to the VP, Products within Products, Services & Strategy (PS&S) for TD Wealth Management, the US Wealth Product Manager
will be responsible for formulating strategy that is required to build out the US product suite and its ongoing product management and
development.

Job Description

This job leads the development and implementation of strategies, plans, policies, client solutions, and, tools related to all US
Wealth Management product offerings. The job uses change leadership capabilities, demonstrated product management acumen and wealth
industry experience that is specific to the US market. The Products, Services and Strategy group (PS&S) supports the Wealth business
through designing strategies, executing pan-Wealth initiatives, developing solutions and insights, and optimizing partner relationships with
TDBG. In this way, PS&S enables superior client experience and, in turn, success of the Wealth businesses.

  • Qualifications

    Undergraduate degree is required and Post Graduate degree is an asset. At least 7-10 years of US product/investment industry
    knowledge. Experience with the high net worth markets, coupled with strong product management experience. History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies, and delivering superior results in both the short and long term. Proven ability in leveraging deep
    subject matter expertise to develop and deploy a vision and align others to that vision. Be known for providing creative thought leadership
    while also listening and engaging others to provide input in the shaping of that vision. Powerful communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees. Skillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input but remain objective to reach the right outcome - ability to stay resilient under pressure. Demonstrated relationship building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence. Robust organizational skills with the ability
    to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

    direct the delivery of products, services or functions at group, regional or divisional levels of organizations
    Financial Accountability
    Support the development and implementation of operational strategies and objectives to achieve measurable excellence in the quality delivery of sales, service, and products aligned with Best Run concepts and overall enterprise strategy and objectives.
    Participate in establishing and executing plans and goals for the Business to drive toward results.
    Develop and maintain an operating budget, ensuring adherence to budget. May delegate budgetary assignments to direct
    reports, but maintains overall budgetary responsibility and oversight.
    Provide financial reports and analysis including budget variances to management on a regular basis.
    Business Operation Accountability
    Communicate business strategies, programs and practices establish and operate change strategy throughout the organization.
    Deliver business services, functions and capabilities that optimize the use of process, technology and our people, and take
    advantage of TDs scale and operating model.
    Ensure TD is a best run, integrated, customer-focused, growth organization.
    Understand business unit/functions own risk appetite statement, objectives for risk and control, and measures, where applicable, making sure these are aligned with TDs Risk Appetite. Ensure that the business / function operates within TDs Risk Appetite by tracking key metrics against its policies, procedures and limits.
    Successfully complete all required job specific, compliance-related training and ensure team members complete all required training. Understand, utilize and follow compliance/risk and control programs. Consult with all risk functions in the development and documentation of policies, procedures and controls, for all department processes.
    Ensure ongoing compliance with internal/ external audit and regulatory requirements. Provide prompt and comprehensive
    response to all external audit, regulator and compliance requests and findings. Maintain appropriate records of action plans.
