US Loan Settlement Manager # 115760

    You will coordinate with various individuals including vendors in an oversight capacity, trading desk personnel, middle office upper management and counterparties relating to trade closing and trade administration. You will liaise / coordinate with other departments including operational risk, legal, tax and compliance on all matters pertinent to trade administration. You will collaborate with and run an outsourced middle office vendor team. You will work with account administrators and custodians, CLO trustees, corporate service providers, and outside counsel among others. You will perform IMA/Indenture/Warehouse and related document review and assess operational feasibility related to trade administration. You will ensure that all governance and control procedures are adhered to per processes and look to refine and develop new governance processes as needed. You are responsible for settlement reporting, and escalation regarding issues on trades and trade settlements for loans, bond and other traded or related products. You will lead closing and settlement teams involving loans, bonds, ABS and physical equity. Knowledge of LSTA / LMA closing documentation required. You will review Cash Available Reports for trading activity. You will directly support the front office. You will perform analyses on delayed and distressed settlements.

You Offer
    Undergraduate degree Experience at an alternative investment firm, hedge fund or a premier investment bank in a middle office or operations role related to a credit trading desk or a service provider that supports the loan product. Experience and knowledge of par and distressed loans is required, credit restructuring's, bonds, ABS, equities (DTC, Euroclear, Physical cert's), FX settlements and general credit trading support is preferred. Experience leading a team. Both in-house and remote advantageous. Strong analytical skills, ability to review, analyze and develop settlement and related reports, trade systems working knowledge, and vendor coordination. Knowledge of credit agreements, credit products required. Experience in oversight of a settlements team preferred. Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills. Experience with Vendor Management, Oversight or system/vendor transitions helpful. Familiarity with CDO/CLOs, 40 Act Funds, separate accounts and other loan funds. Specific knowledge of loans, bonds, physical equity, corporate action to the prior related to investment vehicles is preferred. Prior trade desk, portfolio manager, trader interaction preferred. Knowledge of the loan industry and relationships within preferred. Perform analyses on delayed settlements. Ability to work independently, perform research, make inquiries and provide reason based explanation, and/or proposals to allow PM's and other upper management to make informed decisions on issues. You are accustomed to working independently on special projects, can take on problems and offer solutions.
