Position Overview:
J.P. Morgan Chase is aleading global financial services firm. CIB's Treasury Services (TS),working in conjunction with JPM's Commercial Bank (CB), is undertaking a GlobalPricing & Billing initiative that will focus on E2E businesstransformation. The new Global Pricing & Billing system (Caliber) will be astrategically important and industry-leading platform that will meet evolvingclient and market trends, as well as provide enhanced business controls. Thiswill serve to re-engineer the Global Pricing & Billing operating model,driving efficiencies and enhanced business results. This will be a complex,multifaceted, multiyear program that will cut across several transformationdimensions - Strategy, Client Experience, People Experience and OperationalExcellence - and will deliver increased client satisfaction, cost efficienciesand incremental revenues.
Position Overview &Key Responsibilities:

The Pricing strategy analyst will workclosely with the Pricing transformation Lead supporting various prioritiesaround the workstream. This involves defining, designing and delivering keycapabilities required in the strategic Pricing tool. This role will partnerwith other lines of business such as Commercial Bank and Business Bank inaddition to SME's from Technology, Product and Operations. Key responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

Specific responsibilitiesinclude:
  • Define E2Ebusiness requirements supporting core functions ranging from Deal review,pricing strategy, pricing pro formas, service code simplification etc.
  • Act as thesubject matter expert to articulate functional requirements to technologypartners to build target state capabilities
  • Work across theTS (regional and global product executives) and CB organizations to ensurecompleteness of the business requirements and capabilities across all productswithin TS (inclusive of Commercial Card and Trade products)
  • Work closely withthe Billing transformation team to ensure seamless design and execution of theE2E pricing & billing operating model
  • Identifyautomation opportunities and ensure required enhancements are built intooverall system design
  • Providesignificant input on the design and delivery of enhanced analytical tools thatwill leverage data created and managed by the new Pricing & billing system
  • Engage activelyin weekly, monthly and quarterly communication processes with project teammembers

Preferred Locations: New York, Tampa

  • 3 years of business analysis, product development or equivalent work experience
  • Financial Services experience, preferably within Revenue Management for Treasury Management products and related functions; financial deal modeling and pricing strategy experience a plus
  • BS/BA in Finance, Management, Economics, or a related discipline (Graduate degree preferred)
  • Proven success developing and implementing pricing strategies
  • Proven success and ability to execute tactical and strategic initiatives
  • Proven experience in developing financial pricing and profitability models
  • Advanced abilities in data analysis, interpretation of results and problem solving
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in effectively gathering, analyzing and utilizing data to support proposed initiatives
  • Outstanding organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft tools including: Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio (Advanced database knowledge preferred)
