Strategically partners with Treasury Manager and bankers to execute integrated sales strategies to support growth of business and commercial customers and increase market share.  Generates revenue by selling Treasury & Cash Management Products; calls on accounts throughout the Business & Commercial Banking target market to determine their potential plans and needs in order to ensure continued account penetration and customer satisfaction. Establishes and maintains long-term relationships with Business & Commercial Banking Relationship Officers; develops a strong working knowledge of all Treasury & Cash Management products. Identifies appropriate local business industry conferences and evens to prepare business justification, organizes and presents at approved events; provides direct sales support to the Commercial Business Group; responsible for new net revenue generation & portfolio management.

  • Achieve personal net new revenue goals by acquiring new-to-bank business by utilizing effective calling techniques and leveraging Citigroup's products and services.
  • Maintain frequent interaction with centers of influence, diverse industry segments, community leaders, regulators, and senior business contacts.
  • Regular joint calling programs to important prospects and centers of influence with other Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers.
  • Continually monitor practices of competition and report findings to management when appropriate.
  • Interface with Retail Banking management structure, the credit team, and to ensure ongoing and appropriate communication to support overall business objectives.



  • Exceptional consulting and presentation skills; ability to probe and listen to help clarify inquiries, gather and present data to advance transactions
  • BA or equivalent experience, graduate studies a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years in Business and/or Commercial Banking
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury & Cash Management Products

  • Ability to develop new business from a variety of leads as well as directly source prospects
  • Proven sales call experience able to provide quality relationship oriented solutions to customer needs
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to rapidly assimilate complex information
  • Exceptional networking and relationship building skills; demonstrated expertise and success in business development and sales process.
