MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and VB.Net.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic Technology Strategy & Operations lead with a strong strategy, communications, development, and general technology background (preferably Wealth Management). The ability to translate leadership vision, strategy, and direction, into executable objectives, communications and goals is imperative.

Role Profile
The CTS Technology Strategy & Development Lead will be responsible for:
Specific responsibilities:

Design, develop and implement role-based employee onboarding and development program. All employees of CTS should know when they arrive what tools they will need to know to perform their respective roles, and will be directed to appropriate role based training, either provided by the companys training site or internal CTS employees.

The candidate will work closely with the CTS leadership team to provide accurate and timely communications regarding our CTS vision, strategy, and operating model, how we?re executing, continuous improvement, etc.

Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the CTS jive site, updating it regularly with new content and strategy updates, managing major communications, educating team members on how to communicate with the broader WMIMT organization, preparing presentations for various Town Hall and LEAD meetings, manage logistics, develop documentation as needed to support the CTS operating model.

Candidate will identify and execute new ways of communicating CTS messaging to the organization, such as use of video where appropriate, messaging, jive, memos, emails, voice messages, etc.

Additional responsibilities include:

Work with Business Continuity Manager to develop appropriate training & manager materials so that all managers understand their responsibilities and how to execute during a crisis situation.
Assist in leading the CTS People Engagement Program, to provide a diverse and inclusive working environment
Develop communications strategy and plan for CTS leadership team. *LI-DC1


The candidate must have 7+ years professional experience in technology, preferably in Wealth Management
Outstanding organizational and communications skills
Experience leading and contributing to Technology project management initiatives a plus
