Who We Look For
We are recruiting highly motivated individuals for DevOps roles on the global Vulnerability Management team within Technology Risk Advisory, based in New York/London/Bengaluru. Our team performs one of the most critical security and risk functions at the firm - detecting vulnerabilities in our technology and ensuring their remediation before they can be exploited by malicious hackers.

We are looking for individuals with experience in a variety of technology disciplines to help us improve and maintain our vulnerability management platform, which involves integrating and automating a variety of tools, data sets, and workflows to detect, prioritize, and risk manage security vulnerabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Basic interest in and knowledge of information security
  • 3 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: software development, systems integration, data analytics, automation, technical product management, or information security
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Strong analytic and problem solving ability

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information security, or a related field
  • Experience integrating data sets and tools
  • Programming and/or scripting experience (Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Python, command shell, etc)
  • Familiarity with common web stack technologies (e.g. HTTP, HTML5, AJAX, REST, etc.) and platforms (e.g. DropWizard, AngularJS, Tomcat, .Net, etc.), or familiarity with common infrastructure technologies (e.g. AD, Kerberos, network devices, operating systems, hypervisors, etc.)
  • Experience in application or infrastructure security or vulnerability management
  • Experience using industry standard vulnerability assessment tools (such as Splunk, nmap, nesssus, Qualys) and interpreting, analyzing and assessing their data output
  • Experience working as part of a global team

Responsibilities
  • Tuning and/or optimizing existing industry standard vulnerability scanning tools
  • Developing custom tools to detect vulnerabilities or automate vulnerability management workflows
  • Using data science and analytical approaches with vulnerability data from various sources to improve our vulnerability signal-to-noise ratio, report key metrics and analyze security posture
  • Setting roadmaps for key tools, processes or uplifts and driving execution of them
  • Keeping up to date with new techniques and tools that can improve vulnerability discovery, efficiency and accuracy
