Asset Servicing Technology group provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients' unique needs to help enhance the management, administration and oversight of their investment process and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measure investment data around the world.
The role of a Technology Relationship Manager will be pivotal in bringing new digital capabilities to market globally and on-boarding the new business that is being generated. This is a high-profile senior role in a highly ambitious and motivated global team of technology professionals.
The ideal Technology Relationship Manager has a combination of strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, mixed with technical awareness. The primary focus of the Technology Relationship Manager is to be the central point of contact and advocate for our top-tier platinum clients. The Technology Relationship Manager will be responsible for forging strong relationships with our platinum clients and fostering collaborative conversations around the firms' architectures and strategic plans, with the aim of driving towards an enhanced and more integrated operating model. The Technology Relationship Manager will support the client relationship by providing leadership, project portfolio oversight, and client-related KPIs that reflect the health of the relationship from a technology perspective.
Role Description
• Foster strong and supportive relationships with assigned platinum client(s).
• Serve as primary technology contact and strong advocate for clients within BNY Mellon.
• Provide leadership in addressing technology challenges that are negatively impacting the client relationship.
• Foster open communications and collaboration with clients, exploring opportunities to enhance the client operating model.
• Be accountable for the successful and timely delivery of the portfolio of change requested by the client.
• Represent Technology at client relationship functions and internal service forums.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Fund Accounting & Administration, Middle Office, Transfer Agency or Asset Servicing.
• Knowledge of both FIS InvestOne or Eagle accounting platforms strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to clients
• Strong analytical skills combined with project management experience
• Influencing skills
• Strong leadership skills to bring different people or groups together to solve client challenges
• Must demonstrate accountability and responsibility
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong software skills, including Word, Excel, Jira, Confluence, MS Project and Powerpoint
• Project management experience in technology or financial services industry is a plus
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is beneficial
• Experience coordinating work across multiple disciplines or organizations and be adept at building consensus across organizational and functional lines


General Summary:Liaises between Technology and multiple business units to support their highly complex technology needs. Leads and provides innovative direction and guidance for a wide array of activities supporting the Technology contracting processes and procedures. Develops strategic client relationships within the business unit to ensure client satisfaction with complex changes and the development of efficient business systems. Represents user area to Technology departments in highly complex system enhancements and design activities to ensure changes take into account business needs. Responsible for negotiating, extending, terminating, and renegotiating of medium-sized contraTechnology for acquisition of equipment, materials, produTechnology, or services. Leads the evaluation and monitoring of processes and tools for different types of contraTechnology, risk assessment, dispute and issue resolution through continual review of existing policies and procedures. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial 10-12 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
