Position Objectives:
The TTS (Treasury Trade Solutions) NA (North America) Market Management organization is responsible for leading the franchise's go to market strategy across the ICG (Institutional Clients Group) client base. In addition to driving core cash commercialization, the Market Managers help deliver thoughtful and competitive Liquidity and Cash Management solutions for the TTS client base, while ensuring TTS is focused on balance sheet return and regulatory metrics. Market Management provides expertise on a range of products and services to facilitate and support the efficient treasury management and optimal cash utilization objectives of our clients.
The Market Manager will be involved in a variety of initiatives across Treasury and Trade Solutions: developing innovative solutions across all core cash products and sector specific positioning and targeting of TTS capabilities. This will involve identifying client needs, and working with Product Managers, Sales and Banking teams to develop use cases, targeting and solution strategies.
Due to the complexity of regulatory and return metrics of client deposits, paired with internal balance sheet objectices , the Market Manager will also be focused on critical deposit optimization and strategic liquidity initiatives aligned with directly improving balance sheet quality. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Core Cash-specific responsibilities include:
  • Market discovery and assessment
  • Analyzing key market trends and market shifts
  • Competitor positioning and risks/ opportunities for core cash products
  • Identifying new segments and validating fit for core cash products
Liquidity Management-specific:
  • Balance sheet optimization to ensure regulatory and return metrics are achieved, while focusing on growing key client relationships
  • Commercialization of new product releases/ enhancements
  • Manage the global strategy around USD rising rates by ensure global alignment with Product, Sales and Banking to minimize impact to the balance sheet and create a consistent client experience
  • Analyze client profitability across product portfolios and execute strategy aimed to increase margin
  • Work closely with Sales on Liquidity solutioning, pricing, proposal generation and client-facing regulatory updates
  • Participate in client discussions to understand client needs and determine opportunities for further client penetration
  • Support market strategy, business reviews and P&L forecasting
  • Ensure new wins are correctly implemented and communicated to operations and management
  • Ensure ICG deposit targets are met on an EOP and average basis
  • Work with balance sheet management and Treasury to implement strategies to maximize base NRFF, Hedge & LP revenue

  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Basel III and depository products a plus
