Sr. Specialist, Technology Product Manager

You will continually look for ways to improve our processes and technology, and facilitate training and communications related to our Business Case Application (BCA) and Investment Analytics (IA) products. You will surface issues from our stakeholders and resolve inter-team dependencies, as well as coordinate with our main business partners. You will design and maintain the architecture models that help us plan advancements for our applications, and manage the execution of those plans. You will enjoy this role if you: Are a passionate operator, who can bridge the gap between product strategy and execution Enjoy solving complex problems and inter-dependencies Are enthusiastic about moving into a high visibility role in one of the top financial servicing companies in the industry Like strategizing and working with high energy teams and collaborators Results oriented Your day to day is: Collaborating with the team to develop our long-term strategy and vision Leading the improvements in process and design to continuously improve our Business Case Application and Investment Analytics products Aligning and working with the resources required to define and implement improvements Participate in development planning sessions and steer planned work towards successful outcomes and quality Address any issues or gaps in process and functionality Develop KPIs and dashboard views to monitor progress against key objectives Facilitate meetings with team and stakeholders to complete required work and review progress Qualifications You'll be successful in this role if you have: A Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. 8-10 years of experience in technology product management, program/project management, software development, digital transformation, or similar relevant experience A proven track record of collaborating across all departments and different levels of leadership Strong problem solving and product management skills An understanding of how technologies work, and some development experience A passion for excellence and organization Comfort dealing with a changing environment Strong communication skills - can explain complex things in clear and simple ways BNY Mellon Values: Passion for Excellence - Driven by a deep sense of purpose, we act with urgency in setting deadlines, use our grit and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles, and cut through red tape to deliver on time-every time.
