Sr. Group Manager, Control
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Group Manager, Control in New York, New York , to develop and implement control standards in various global locations based on local regulatory requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Developing business requirements for electronic trading systems in support of Global Markets trading platforms for large sell side financial institutions, including order & execution management systems, alternative trading systems, algo engines, and smart order routers; Developing controls to ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements; Utilizing expertise in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to perform current state assessments and enhance change management protocols and governance; Driving continuous improvement in electronic trading controls environments; and Planning and executing quality assurance reviews and testing of electronic trading systems, processes and controls. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Establishing and overseeing governance frameworks for electronic and algorithmic trading, consisting of industry-aligned processes, supervisory and risk metrics, and well-documented policies across product classes including FX , Fixed Income, and Equities; Identifying, assessing, and enhancing key electronic and algorithmic trading controls across multiple products including FX, Fixed Income, and Equities and jurisdictions including APAC, EMEA, Americas, in line with regulations and principles including MiFID II (RTS 6), FX Global Code, Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) SS5/18, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), FINRA and SEC 15c3-5; and Designing, implementing, and assessing key metrics including KRIs and KPIs to enable ongoing supervision of electronic and algorithmic trading activities.
