Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - This role is hybrid or remote depending on candidate location and proximity to office location.

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. About the role...
• Leads implementation of FNWL data and analytics strategy, and implementation of moderately complex data and analytic products utilized in business decisions, customer/agent experience, profitability, growth, underwriting, finance, actuarial and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews company-wide moderately complex initiatives related to data and analytic efforts, including data governance, data cataloging, data virtualization, semantic layer development and manages data models are kept accurate and up to date.
• Leads a team handling the implementation of data solutions for efficient data pipeline for the ingestion, cataloging, curation, and consumption of data from FNWQL data partners.
• Supports the building of robust FNWL data architectures by collaborating with FNWL data architect, to enable full data lifecycle, including data quality, transformation, integrity, PII and security in cloud enabled environments.
• Collaborates with data science and analytics teams to understand how data pipelines accelerate and enable the realization of AI/ML, business analytics and reporting.
• Collaborates with infrastructure team to ensure scaling of data solutions to fulfill evolving business needs and volumes of data.
• Ensures the data engineering team is mentored and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll accomplish...
• Consults, manages, or executes on data efforts of limited to moderate complexity, to understand data management, analytics, data governance requirements and existing business processes to lead in the design, development, implementation, and management of data products.
• Ensures code, for data and analytic adheres to current architectural patterns principles and data governance guidelines including execution.
• Leads a team who develops, provides ongoing support, maintenance and modification of existing moderately complex data products and solutions and the flow of data relating to enterprise applications.
• Oversees the collection and reporting of moderately complex data to FNWL data partners using established data architecture patterns.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate strategy concepts to individuals.
• Leads efforts to define moderately complex data solutions and manages the overall development effort, either individually or leading a team.
• Creates plans and translates plans to action for individuals or teams within their span of control or teams across one to three business domains.
• Shares innovative ideas in data and analytics to leadership that may be domain specific or functional in nature with a proven level of implementation either individually or leading a team.
• Works as an individual, with individuals or multiple teams to apply data management, reporting and analytics, data governance concepts to projects or programs.
• Executes on mid-size to larger projects within timelines.

Physical actions...

  • This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
  • Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
  • Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
  • Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
  • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Education needed...

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree or advanced certification preferred.

Experience needed...

  • 7-10 years of related experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under minimal supervision and guidance to improve processes, develop policies or generate innovation.
  • Communication and leadership experience, including initiating and driving projects.
  • Experience scaling and managing teams.
  • Data Architecture experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.

    o HI Only: $123,120 - $192,940
