Specialist, Client Processing-Resilency

The resiliency role is responsible for executing key strategy to build GlobalSecurities Operations ability to failover and execute business service in BNYMsalternate data center for a sustained period of time. The role will be criticalin defining resiliency failover and stay strategy, defining successful testexecution, driving accountability and enabling transparency across theorganization as we transform our technology and infrastructure environment. Thecandidate will have an opportunity to gain deep understanding of the SecuritiesOperations workflows and application infrastructure as well as partnerwith GSO functional heads, technology,enterprise resiliency, risk, and audit and stability management teams inprogram execution.

Provides complex analytics andreporting services, working to improve and automate Client Processing systems.Manages moderate to complex external client issues. Directly advises otherorganizational units/teams to ensure timely delivery of service, or resolutionof issue. Meets with organizational units/teams to ensure problems and issuesare being addressed appropriately and that they are resolved in a timelymanner. Participates in product development, product enhancement, and systemtesting to ensure that products continue to accurately and efficiently processhigh value transactions. Define test strategy, documenting feedback. Solvecomplex problems based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies ofthe system. Integrates in-depth area knowledge with a solid understanding ofindustry standards and practices to provide solutions to internal and externalclients. Provides support to lower level client processing roles. Contributesto the achievement of related teams objectives

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience is preferred. Experience in brokerage processing is preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
