The Digital Product Innovation Lead will be responsible for driving the overall vision and execution of the US CCB Client Led Innovation product roadmap in close partnership with the Product Management, Channels and Technology teams. The person's primary role will be to act as an innovation catalyst for cash management products, allowing Citi to become part of the disruption in the commercial digital banking space. The Digital Product Innovation Lead will be responsible for staying abreast of the cash management and payments industry and FinTech disruption as well as act as our key connector to other Citi innovation teams / efforts like Citi Ventures, TTS Innovation Labs and Catalysts, D10x FinTech, etc.

The Digital Product Innovation Lead will engage with experienced Product and Channels Management teams, Technology, Product Sales and other cross functional teams to conceive, design, develop and execute quality, innovative digital product capabilities and products with the aim of achieving best in class. The individual will also interact heavily with commercial clients and US CCB Cash & Trade Channels Innovation Lead and FinTechs to apply Human Centered Design Principles and co-create seamless, frictionless, delightful client experiences. The Digital Product Innovation Lead will also work closely with senior management and marketing to communicate and promote new innovative capabilities and products both internally and externally, clearly defining the value proposition for CCB clients and sales teams.
The individual will report to the Cash Management Product Head.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the vision and execution of the US CCB Client Led Innovation roadmap in partnership with the Product / Channels Management and Technology teams
  • Visit strategic clients to understand their current banking interactions (systems, processes, types of entities sending / receiving payments, etc. as well as identify banking needs and challenges as well as client
  • Build strong partnerships with other Citi innovation teams like TTS Innovation Labs, FinTech, TTS and Retail Invocation Catalysts, Citi Ventures, D10x, etc.
  • Research current and future trends in technology, digital and commercial banking and stay abreast of the competitive landscape
  • Attend innovation forums, actively meet FinTechs and identify potential partners to execute on our Client Led Innovation Roadmap
  • Coordinate demos with key cross functional partners such as Product / Channels Management teams, Product Sales, Bankers and Technology to evaluate Fintech offerings and select the best partners to fast-track roadmap and delight clients
  • Partner with Digital Channels Innovation lead and other relevant partners to ensure new FinTech partnerships and / or newly built capabilities are designed and delivered as part of a holistic, consistent client experience.
  • Partner with Product / Channels Management and Technology on execution of new product capabilities - both internally built and through FinTech partnerships.
  • Present product vision and strategy to senior management and other key stakeholders.

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of innovation and product development experience, commercial banking knowledge preferred
  • Experience working with innovative and emerging technology and understanding of its current / potential impact on the traditional banking space.
  • Experience with Design Thinking principles.
  • Experience crafting and executing on product strategy
