Fitch Ratings is seeking a Senior Marketing Research Associate for our Structured Credit Business Development group. The position will primarily support the activities of the growing Structured Credit business which resides within Corporate Finance Business Relationship Management team. The position will work closely with the Structured Credit business head in supporting the marketing effort both in new business and existing relationship for that business (internally and externally).

Responsibilities will include fee letters creations, updating market research and data, creating and updating presentations and other marketing materials, coordinating the group's electronic marketing efforts for investors, and ensuring that prospect lists are updated and accurate. The marketing associate will also be responsible to liaise internally with finance and accounting. He/she will support and prepare monthly and quarterly business/investor development reports to highlight the group's activities by obtaining information from both a marketing database and direct feedback from senior members of the team. He/She will liaise with Structured Credit Business/Credit head to ensure we are up to date with prospects/structures/and feedback to clients. The candidate will attend some external outreach/business development meetings upon request.

The successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, be extremely organized and detail oriented, and highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. In addition, the high-energy, team player must be able to work well independently and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. Knowledge of CLO or structured finance is a plus. Travel will be required depending on business need (10-25%)

Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance or economics
• Self-starter who can understand objectives, work independently and is highly motived.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate data demonstrated through strong excel modeling
• Great presentation/PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical aptitude.
• Team oriented, with an ability to effectively build relationships both externally and internally.
• High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience
