SUMMARY
Senior Manager, Marketing FP&A is a newly re-designed role in the E*TRADE Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Sr. Manager will provide FP&A support to E*TRADE’s Chief Marketing Officer and report into the finance function. This is a great opportunity to work closely with strong leadership, make an impact quickly and to join a high-performing, collaborative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will work directly with marketing leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities. In coordination with Marketing and CFO function leadership, the role will develop analyses and provide strategic insights across marketing functions. You will be responsible for:

•Acting as lead the FP&A business partner to the Marketing organization (Brand, Media, Market Research, Marketing Operations, and Site Marketing VPs) in developing targets, assumptions and strategic goals to be incorporated in the annual budget and planning processes
•Maintaining finance oversight of monthly close activities in partnership with the controller organization and continuing to drive best practices, accuracy, and efficiency in the processes
•Oversight of the firm’s promotional budget as well as associated reporting and analytics on return, profitability, and overall performance of promotional offers to customers
•Ownership of regular updates to expense and headcount forecast – counseling marketing leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities, and balancing business needs with financial performance
•Coordinating across a diverse stakeholder and business partner group to lead cross-organizational analyses and projects for the CFO function. The person in this position will also partner with internal analytics team in the reporting, forecasting, and analysis of key performance indicators on customer acquisition.

REQUIREMENTS
Basic
•BS/BA and a minimum 5 years of experience as a leader in Financial Planning & Analysis or a directly related field

Preferred
•Outstanding oral and written communication skills, ability to build relationships with business partners (both technical and client-facing)
•Track record of achievement – self-motivated and possess an ability to break through barriers to deliver business results
•Demonstrated acumen and ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a matrix environment and across all levels of management
•Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm, including balancing multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial and analytical data to business partners across all levels of the organization
•Proficiency in Hyperion/Essbase/Smart View is a plus
