Fitch Ratings currently seeks a Managing Director / Senior Directors to join our Corporates Business and Relationship Management (BRM) Team in New York. The Investor Marketing role will have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships primarily with high yield bond, leveraged loan investors and those who manage assets on behalf of insurance companies. As part of the Banker and Private Equity Marketing team within BRM, the candidate will work closely with a senior team of experienced Leveraged Finance and Investment Grade professionals who market Fitch to Leveraged Finance and IG Bankers, PE professionals and Borrowers/Issuers, as well as Direct Lenders. The principal objective of the Team is to generate new Corporate rating mandates through relationship development and consistent, targeted marketing.
The candidate will have an existing network of investors through their experience in any of syndicate, credit sales and trading. They will be an integral part of increasing the visibility of Fitch Ratings within the high yield bond and leveraged loan markets. The candidate will lead the client outreach strategy and will promote Fitch's industry leading analytical content and credit expertise to enhance Fitch's franchise value, with a view to driving investor and issuer demand for Fitch Ratings.
• Efforts shall be focused on developing new and enhancing existing relationships with the target investor base
• Engage with sector analysts, senior portfolio managers, traders and senior executives of influential leveraged loan and high yield platforms
• Liaise with other BRM colleagues in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto (Banker, PE, Issuer and Investor teams), as well as EMEA groups to coordinate firm messaging, target lists and assist in the development of relationships
• Responsible for research, development, preparation and presentation of value proposition to external parties highlighting factors which differentiate Fitch and its published ratings and research from the competition
• Creating, coordinating and implementing outreach plans
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in experience with buy side firms including loan or HY bond investors and/or insurance companies and with a current network of investors (high yield bond and / or leveraged loans)
• Ability to travel as required
