Fitch Ratings currently seeks a Senior Director to join our Corporates, Business and Relationship Management (BRM) team in New York. The candidate will work closely with a senior team of experienced investment grade, leveraged finance, private debt and industry focused business development professionals. The role will have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships primarily with investors in corporate debt at Insurance companies and Asset Mangers (investing on behalf of insurance companies), with the goal to market Fitch Ratings services to them. The candidate will likely have experience in the credit markets at an Insurance Company as an investor or asset allocator or be from a top tier bank in Investment Grade DCM / Syndicate or in Private Debt as an originator or investor. There is scope to grow the role to cover the different asset classes of debt that these investors may focus on e.g. project finance, structured finance etc.

The principal objective is to generate new Corporate rating mandates through relationship development and consistent, targeted marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Efforts shall be focused on developing new and enhancing existing relationships with the target investor base, their advisors, and broker-dealers that may allocate new loans/bonds to them
• Liaise with other BRM colleagues in New York, San Francisco, Chicago (Banker, Issuer and Investor teams), as well as EMEA & Asia groups to coordinate firm messaging, target lists and assist in the development of relationships
• Responsible for research, development, preparation and presentation of marketing messages to external parties highlighting factors which differentiate Fitch and its published ratings and research from the competition
• Developing pitch books, marketing case studies and content to a specific sector or vertical for an upcoming or prospective meeting
• Creating, coordinating and implementing outreach plans

Position Requirements:
• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in the credit markets at an Insurance Company as an investor or asset allocator or at a top tier bank in Investment Grade DCM / Syndicate or in Private Debt as an originator or investor
• Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of how Insurance Companies use ratings (preferably with a knowledge of Europe and Asia insurance companies); and candidates with significant industry contacts
• Ability to travel as required
