Sales Technology Project Manager

Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income Strategists team is searching for a VP-level project manager to help coordinate various sales technology initiatives. This individual will be responsible for executing a portfolio of projects that are both strategic and tactical in nature, aiming to increase both the efficiency
and effectiveness of sales teams and their related support functions.

Project areas include (but not limited to):
Voice Trading - Analyze and identify opportunities to improve voice trading workflows across all product areas, from pricing, execution, trade booking and post execution processes. Solutions should be both tailored to individual teams and bring consistency across the division wherever appropriate.

Client Relationship Management - Understand how sales people spend their time (or want to spend their time) servicing their clients, and design/implement solutions that can help facilitate and improve their effectiveness in engaging clients e.g. more efficient communication tools, automated client activity tracking and opportunity alerts, a centralized dashboard showing cross divisional coverage efforts.

Data Quality - Ensure integrity of key business information for sales e.g. revenue, interactions, profitability, execution efficiency, market share, etc. Help design tools that allow efficient data entry and enrichment, coupled with appropriate controls and processes that can certify their accuracy.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with sales and trading and also have a working understanding of fixed income products. Most importantly, candidates should be comfortable working in a fast paced, trading floor environment, while still managing multiple projects and forging relationships
with salespeople. Candidates should be comfortable gathering asks and translating them into solutions that the Technology teams can understand/execute, creating roadmaps for regular updates to key
stakeholders, and coordinating testing/rollouts. Essentially, candidates should be comfortable becoming an expert in all things sales technology.

Skills Required:
Bachelors or higher university degree, preferably in economics, finance, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years related industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Excellent organizational skills
Experience running a large scale project
Experience coordinating multiple smaller projects simultaneously
Working understanding of fixed income products (rates, credit and foreign exchange)
Thorough understanding of front to back business workflow
Experience in Technology a plus
