Our Client is a Macro Hedge Fund that takes long and short positions in the U S markets based on top down macroeconomic analysis. The Fund buys and sells exposure to the U S market using equities, options, futures and ETFs.

Their business model employs algorithms and qualitative macro analysis to assess market direction and determine the optimal long and short exposure. The Funds objective is to outperform the S&P 500 and generate annual gross returns over 25% while limiting downside risk. Since inception in 2016 their strategy has consistently generated annual gross returns in excess of 35%

They are now looking to expand after their excellent performance this year by bringing on a Sales Director to lead their fund raising.

The Sales Director will work closely with the CEO to add to their current assets under management. This person will head up the Sales function and use their extensive knowledge of Hedge Funds to raise capital and win some more Global Hedge Fund awards to add to the existing collection.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Business Development experience in Fund of Funds
  • Experience working in the Sales function and managing Business Development from qualification all the way through to final closure.
  • Track Record of Raising Assets
  • Extensive knowledge of the Hedge Fund space
  • Technical understanding of Hedge Fund products
  • Driven by sales and commission
