Job Overview:

  • Creation, implementation and management of alternative risk financing mechanisms
  • Client focused deal assistance utilizing insurance based solutions
  • Assume leadership position with Risk Management/Brokerage/Insurance Industry Thought Leaders on collective solutions to Risk Financing and Regulatory Issues
  • Creation of Business/Marketing opportunities through the creation of insurance products

  • Management of Captive Insurance Companies; direction, policy, accounting, audit, etc.
  • Review and analysis of deal propositions; legal, regulatory, accounting
  • Understanding and utilization of alternative risk financing mechanisms
  • Management of a variety of Corporate Insurance Programs including Market presentations
  • Special projects as requested
  • Lead Industry based initiatives that facilitate Risk Financing and Operational Risk Mitigation
  • Management of: Attorneys, Actuaries, Accountants, Project Managers, Captive Managers, Investment Managers and Insurance Brokers with respect to Captive Insurance Operations
  • Manage claims/litigation within coverage lines of responsibility
  • Contract review


  • Four year college degree (business preferred e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, etc.), graduate degree a plus.
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation at hire or within one year of hire, CPCU a plus
  • 10+ years finance/insurance related experience
  • Developed Presentation/Oral Communication skills
  • Superior written communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of various insurance products including Crime, Cyber, SIPC, D&O
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional domestic or international business travel
