Risk Analyst M/F - VIE New York
RISQ's main mission is to contribute to develop SG Group (the Group) business and returns through the implementation of an efficient risk management process. The VIE will work for a team (RISQ/COO) in charge of Risk projects, Regulatory projects and Ad-hoc requests from the Risk Managers. Mission
The VIE will work on data analysis and data quality checks for the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) initiative. The GRC initiative aims to harmonize and integrate all risks and controls processes across multiple departments (RISQ, It Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, etc...). The GRC tool developed for the initiative is named RSA Archer and currently has 15+ modules used mainly in the America region and 3 in development that will be used worldwide.
Since the development of the tool is done through Agile methodology, it is critical that data integrity tests are conducted, data architecture is understood, and data extract and upload are reviewed to guarantee data quality. The VIE will be responsible for these tasks.
In addition, data reporting is critical to the project and the VIE will have the opportunity to work with the Business to design meaningful dashboards in the BI Tool: Power BI and/or Microstrategy.
Occasionally, the VIE will also support Risk Managers on ad-hoc requests. Data analysis Extract data from Archer and other tools Analyze data going from Archer into the BI tool to ensure consistency and feasibility of reporting requirements Escalate any data issues such as duplication of records, unreportable multi selects, invalid records etc... Perform ad hoc checks to guarantee data integrity Clean and normalize the data Ad hoc data analysis request for data repository project Responsibilities:
Archer release review Review data exceptions or unplanned changes that occurred after the monthly release and analyze impacts as well as potential root cause Ensure data exceptions and defects are fixed appropriately
Referential changes Analyze data in and out of Archer to ensure consistency on referential uses (ie: organizational, geography, legal entity...) Identify need for referential or taxonomy change Review impact analysis on referential or taxonomy changes Check that changes occurred as planned and report any data exceptions
Data quality Gather data quality needs with various risk teams Develop automatic checks on data Perform regular and automatized checks to ensure that data quality in GRC tool is good. Checks will include completeness of information as well as simple data quality checks (ie: events reported within # days)
Reporting support Develop reports/dashboards in BI tool (Power BI) as per reporting needs provided Profile The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New-York City is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University. A specialization in Engineering and/or Computer Science will be a plus.
Your are fluent in English Comptencies Advanced in Excel. Python knowledge will be a plus. Data analysis skills are mandatory. Experience in reporting and data aggregation. BI tool knowledge will be a plus. Knowledge of production release process. Knowledge of risk management and/or GRC tool will be extremely valued.
