Research Assistant/Business Support - Global Research
Job Description:

This position will support the Global Client Solutions and Research Distribution team. Incumbent requirements include:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, above average computer skills (particularly with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), expected to create PowerPoint presentations from scratch in support of Learning Initiatives and requests from management, must be above average in Excel - expected to create spreadsheets, pivot tables and reporting of a variety of projects;
  • Incumbent will be expected to communicate with executives and line management to gather/convey relevant information.
  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be polished, proactive and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Phone skills, heavy and ever changing calendar management.
  • Schedules travel accommodations both domestic and international periodically. Works with other assistants in office as a team, backing each other up when needed.
  • Performs diverse, advanced and confidential support functions ensuring requests for information or research are followed through.
  • Liaise with outside groups in coordinating events, set up itinerary of meetings, points of contact and coordinating conference details.
  • Involved in high-level client contact and exposure to sensitive information and must use considerable tact, diplomacy and judgment.

Desired Skills:
  • Associate degree but Bachelors degree preferred

  • Min 2 years experience in Financial Services industry
  • Strong MS Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi task in a faced paced environment
