Citibank, N.A. seeks a Relationship Manager, Commercial Subsidiaries Group for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Manage a credit portfolio of U.S. subsidiaries of parent companies located primarily in Western and Eastern Europe, Middle East (EMEA region) and parts of Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong). Apply knowledge of these regions, understanding of their business, regulatory and cultural environment to ensure successful implementation of credit and banking solutions for the subsidiary clients in the U.S. Grow revenue through new-to-bank client acquisitions and increase of the share of the existing relationships' wallet. Ensure effective credit management, client satisfaction and relationship profitability. Ensure compliance with Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering standards, policies and regulatory requirements. Facilitate discussions with parent companies and parent relationship managers to provide credit and banking solutions to the U.S. subsidiary clients in line with their global business strategy and policies. Apply bank policies and guidelines to complete initial and periodic credit reviews. Ensure that appropriate credit documentation standards are maintained. Proactively identify opportunities to structure lending solutions and cross-sell the full range of banking products matched to customers' needs.


Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Management or a closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Banker, International Banker, Relationship Manager or closely related position. Full term of experience must include: Know Your Customer, Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and Requirements; Intermediate Risk Applications to assess the creditworthiness and needs of potential and existing clients; Identification and explanation of risks involved in lending to complex, global industries; understanding of leveraged finance; Credit derivatives, markets and mechanics, including credit default swaps; Financial analysis and credit risk skills, credit and noncredit products' implementation across full product suite; Knowledge and interpretation of recent trends in Technology, Media and Telecoms, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Consumer Retail and Industrial industries. 30% domestic and international travel required.
