Relationship Manager

ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in the New York office as a Relationship Manager. This person will have a commercial aptitude and be responsible for growing existing business while also servicing clients on a daily basis.

The Commercial Team is comprised of client services, commercial support, relationship managers, sales, business analysists and global execution services.  Clients include proprietary trading firms, corporate hedgers, hedge funds, asset managers and CTAs.

Summary

ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in the New York office as a Relationship Manager.  This person will have a commercial aptitude and be responsible for growing existing business while also servicing clients on a daily basis.  He or she will need to develop a good understanding of ABN AMRO’s products, strengths, and services while being able to tailor the offering to existing clients.  The appropriate candidate will be creative, confident, self-directed, and inquisitive, while also working with others teams to solve client issues.  Additionally, the individual’s communication and presentation skills as well as attitude will be of key importance in the selection process.      

The role

Relationship Manager (New York)

Responsibilities

  • The ability to establish and develop deep client relationships while representing ABN AMRO 
  • The ability to address client problems, recognize opportunities, and provide creative solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with other members of the commercial team on pricing metrics
  • Work with members of the Credit and Risk teams to determine appropriate leverage, credit and risk metrics 
  • Maintain, review and update client files
  • Assist with the account opening and credit application process
  • Liaise with other departments; Risk, Compliance, Client Service to provide the client the best possible experience   
  • Encourage best practices and apply them in everyday functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a front office role at an FCM or U.S. Broker Dealer
  • Series 3, 63 and 7 licenses preferred
  • Strong fundamentals in capital markets with experience in listed derivatives and equities
  • Ability to travel and entertain
