Key Responsibilities:
As part of the FRTB Project (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book), Citi is setting up a Data Management and Analysis team in Manila for historical simulation VaR operation.   This role of Market Risk Data Coordinator in NYC will liaison between Manila team and Market Risk Management / Market Risk Analytics / Market Risk Technology in global locations including NYC and London.  

The key responsibility including set up the Target Operating Model (TOM); oversee the data management and analysis work by Manila team; resolve any IT and user issue.   This role mainly involves time series analysis and data management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience in time series analysis and/or financial data management area.   Experiences in manage large and complex project across multiple team is highly preferred.  Team management experience is a plus.
  • A strong communicator (both written and spoken) with the ability to coordinate multiple teams across multiple time zones;  ability to be clear and concise, can adapt message appropriate to given target audience; ability to distill complicated topics into simple understandable explanations
  • Basic understanding of financial products in trading book (equity, fixed income, derivatives, etc.) and their market driver (price, interest rates, implied volatilities).  Basic understanding of the Value-at-Risk (VaR) model and historical simulation framework.
  • Some programming skills to process large data set are preferred.
