Quality Engineering Manager (Full-Stack)
Quality Engineering Manager (Full-Stack)

  • Serve as the Full Stack quality engineering lead in the GCCS (Global Custody and Cash, a division of Asset Servicing Technology) Quality Engineering Group reporting to the overall Quality Engineering Manager, focusing on GCCS full stack applications.
  • Manage a small to medium-sized team responsible for the definition, planning and management of Quality Engineering efforts, with a focus on test automation, including the use of contemporary tools (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin) and techniques (e.g., message-based APIs).
  • Provide technical guidance to assigned team.
  • Manage overall Quality Engineering effort.
  • Develop and monitor project plans and budgets.
  • Present reports, communications and Quality Engineering training materials providing recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results.
  • Continuously improve the Efficiency of the Automation using innovative technologies & thought process in specific areas of influence.
  • Solve Complex Automation Challenges spanning multiple technologies in a scalable & extensible manner with least amount of maintenance.
  • Ensure team members are adhering to procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Participate in the recruiting process; instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of other quality assurance/testing analysts; prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback.
  • Manage a Quality Engineering team.
  • Contribute to the achievement of GCCS and Quality Engineering Group objectives.
  • Has experience working within an Agile environment.
  • Formal Title: Lead Manager, Quality Engineering


Qualifications

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial 8+ years of experience in a systems quality environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Direct experience in using specific application development toolkits and knowledge of front end and backend development coding languages such as C#, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript.
  • Must also have knowledge in application frameworks and containerization
