Large investment bank looking for contract Project Managers to support FRTB programme.
Our large consultancy client is looking for a number of contractor Project Managers to support a tier 1 investment bank in delivering their FRTB programme.
You will be working on a Consulting basis to support a tier 1 investment bank with their FRTB programme, with your duties/responsibilities typically including:
- Responsible for managing critical projects through the entire life cycle
- Leading a workstream relating to a complete front-to-back redesign of a platform for calculating market risk
- Project scoping, planning and RAID management
- Contributing to the delivery of initiatives based around responding to newly published Basel Committee FRTB rules
- Escalation point for project level risks
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the project team
- Regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Presentation of results to senior stakeholders
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting against the project plan and budget in line with agreed Programme governance
Key Skills and Attributes:
- 5-15 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Strong market risk/regulatory experience (FRTB, CCAR, BASEL etc)
- Significant Change delivery experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of banking products and terminology
- Demonstrate ability to plan and manage budgets
- Familiarity with process modelling, workshop facilitation and business analysis
