The Product Manager partners with both investments and distribution to promote and drive the growth of business lines/products. The Product Manager serves as an expert for assigned products and also focuses on various channels and/or regions to ensure advisor support, product advocacy and competitive insight. The Product Manager will be responsible for defined investment strategies offered by Cohen & Steers and will support product development/strategy initiatives.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Serve as main contact point for assigned products for sales managers and external sales personnel 
• Respond to inquiries from management, sales, investments, operations as well as business partners across the organization
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and research, including market scope and sizing
• Partner with investment and sales teams to create and update a strong, consistent suite of core product marketing and client-service materials
• Provide content in the construction of presentations, profiles, Q&As and other marketing materials
• Ensure accuracy of website content pertaining to assigned products
• Identify areas for thought leadership that connect with their products/markets
• Contribute to product management review of investment strategies to ensure investment and pricing characteristics are competitive in marketplace
• Partner with product development/strategy on new products/strategic initiatives for various regions/channels
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop product support materials, sales ideas and reporting metrics

Minimum Requirements: 

• 3+ years of investment-related product management, product development or product strategy experience 
• Expertise in at least one of the following channels/markets: 
o U.S. Wealth – Wirehouse
o U.S. Wealth – RIA
o U.S. Institutional – global consulting firms
o U.S. Institutional – direct pension
o U.S. Institutional – sub-advisory
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required; MBA and/or CFA a plus
• FINRA series 7 license required or must be obtained
• Strong investment industry knowledge
• Proficiency with industry tools, such as Lipper, Morningstar, Strategic Insight, eVestment a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team objectives
• Strong written, analytical and presentation skills, attention to detail a must
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects on a timely basis
• Minimal travel required
