Role Description:
Private Credit & Equity (PC&E) consists of a team of 200+ professionals currently managing ~$30 billion of AUM in direct private equity and credit investment across a broad spectrum of industries. We are seeking a dynamic Vice President / Senior Associate to join the PC&E management team reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. Candidates should have a keen desire to get involved in wide range of projects and initiatives, with the goal of obtaining broad exposure across multiple strategies. The candidate will contribute to a wide range of strategic and operational activities including the following:

  • A significant portion of the candidate's time will be focused on evolving PC&E's ESG integration efforts. Responsibilities will include the following:
    • Assist in the development of an annual private equity / private credit sustainability report
    • Research best practices and emerging trends in ESG within the PE/PC space
    • Conduct ongoing benchmarking analysis, examining activities in private debt and private equity with regards to fundraising, integration efforts, initiatives, etc.
    • Help evolve integration processes and standards partnering with investment teams as needed
    • Partner with investment teams to develop ESG case studies for each strategy
    • Assist in implementing portfolio company ESG metrics and monitoring across strategies; recommend metrics based on industry analysis
    • Work with divisional and firm-level sustainability focused teams on wide range of initiatives (e.g. net zero)
    • Assist with annual PRI questionnaire response
    • Assist in responding in DDQs/RFPs as it pertains to ESG
    • Assist in developing content for annual training for private equity / private credit investment teams
    • Assist as needed on ESG related diligence
  • General management responsibilities will include:
    • Marketing / investor related activities:
      • Help develop and maintain marketing content for platform
      • Partner with marketing team to ensure timely updates to website
      • Support special projects, such as portfolio company marketing videos
      • Assist with performance benchmarking across funds/platform
      • Assist in planning and logistics pertaining to annual investor conference, including developing agenda, speaker/panel preparation, execution of event
    • Technology related initiatives:
      • Help implement portfolio monitoring solution across strategies
      • Respond to requests for new technology and market data solutions
      • Research best practices and solutions to business needs, including emerging technology (e.g. data science)
    • General risk related activities across platform (e.g. ensuring BCP plans are maintained, ensuring compliance with ongoing technology and operational risk management activities)
    • Support recruiting activities including D&I related initiatives
    • Platform wide reporting and analysis
    • Respond to ad-hoc requests across strategies
    • Space management


  • MBA preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in a related function (operational, strategic, or administrative position)
  • ESG related experience
  • Knowledge and experience with alternatives, specifically private equity and private credit strategies
  • Strong organizational, analytical and financial skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to and work with broad range of styles and personalities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work and think independently under time constraints
  • High commitment and strong self -motivation; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Committed to delivering the highest quality work product; strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple task
